Rob Krell is a seasoned project management and construction professional with a proven track record in the energy and infrastructure sectors. As the owner of Porto Rico Resources Inc., a networking, business development, and construction consulting company, he utilizes his extensive industry connections to facilitate partnerships and opportunities across diverse sectors.
Rob's expertise in project management, construction, and permitting stems from his significant experience with Teck Resources' Neptune Allison and Frontier Oil Sands Mine projects, as well as his role as VP of Operations and Business Development for Technical Resource Management Inc. This background has also enabled him to cultivate strong relationships with Indigenous communities across Western Canada, earning their trust and respect.
With his deep understanding of large project development, Rob adeptly navigates complex initiatives and stakeholder dynamics, ensuring successful outcomes.
Mike Simpson
Mike Simpson, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience and extensive connections in politics, government, and the corporate world, plays a pivotal role at AEPI.
His expertise enables him to skillfully guide AEPI's partners through intricate municipal, provincial, and national policy landscapes, ensuring their success in navigating the complexities of the energy, environmental, and clean technology sectors. He serves on the board of directors for Abound Energy, holds the position of COO of the Hydrogen Division at CKBC, and is the founder and principal of Simpsonite Consulting Group. His primary objective is to foster the development of clean energy technologies that promote growth, sustainability, and progress in the energy economy.
